Default under car lights

I would like to know if and how you can put lights underneath the car so that when you use your remote to open the car doors it would also light up lights underneath at the same time.

It can be done depending on the kit. If the kit uses a manual switch to turn the lights on, a relay can be used tying into the dome light circuit in the car. Some more expensive kit have a door switch input that can be used.

Thanks Tinker,

Thats what I wanted to do, to have the lights go on and then off with the remote door opener. I'll bring it up with the local installer when I have time.
