I would mind adding some chrome strips to the grill, but I'm a litle leary on the pre-cut kits on e-bay - Anybody added with good results- Also, I saw one the other day that added them and the fit was off - ( too wide ) Any vendors out there???-SandRat[8)]

I went to Advance Auto and bought 2 rolls of 3/8" chrome tape ($30). Installed it on the grille horizonally and outlined the edge of the grill, to me it looks great. @ others in our PT club have copied the idea.

I think you should jump right to a new chrome grille.. Looks better in the long run.. They are a couple on ebay for sale... look at the one with the chrome side pieces. I'm not sure if it is a replacement or just a full cover. See link to the one I am talking about.

I agree with Sandy. It's a much better look.[8D]

put em on mine...pretty nice but not as good as a full chrome grill overlay or replacement...not as pricey either!![]()

Bought the chromed grille strips from eBay about 2 years ago for abouit $20 and they still look nice. I bought the oneskl that came with the video. I also bought the black out kit from Streamline Design and on my steelblue colored GT it made the grille look better and the chrome strips stand out more and look brighter. I also think the grille replacements that are made well are the way to go but my way was way cheaper. I did leave off the lower girlle chrome strips but used the black out pieces to get a different darker look for the lower grille.
