I found in art stores a Transparent black paint to cover the reverse lights that I think stand out way to much. It is found in the glass painting section. The Brand is [u]Delta</u> The item is 'Air-Dry PermEnamel'. A way to spray it on is necessary, I bought a spraw kit from 'Preval' that you can put in your own color. You need to buy the thinner as well. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER THIN THE PAINT. I will have pics of it soon.

We agree that the backup lights look bad.... Over here on the 'Left Coast' we replace them with full red lenses wired to run with our running lights (fog) all the time. Really looks Kaual!

We had the red lenses made, cut to fit, and put a clear lense
diffuser behind them. They really look great. The rewiring was easy also. And I am a "girl" so if I can do it, anyone can. Good Luck! PT2DI4 If you take care of each moment, you will take care of all time. |

Just a thought guys, all the Euro's run full red reverse lights with one slightly less tinted. I'll get a price from over here for you just out of curiosity.

Well guys I've got bad news for you from over here. Just got off the phone from the dealer.
They dont just sell the lense and you have to buy the whole light complete. They want $63US each for them. A bit high for my liking. You might want check over there with your dealers if you can get Euro Parts as I'm sure your stock Chrysler parts are cheaper than here. |

Red transleucent vinyl might do the trick.
I'll look into it. -Rich |

Rich, whilst your in here and talking about reverse lights, I'm seriously thinking about getting some of your back up light decals. Question is how do they go with the screws for the lights. Do you just apply over the top. Wont they start peeling off after a while? Just thinking out loud.

Craig just rec'd my order from Rich. He listens to his customers...My tail light covers had pre-made screw holes. Now if weather would just warm up I'd be installing tail lite covers, head lite covers, etc.
