Default PT Woody continental kit

Has anyone installed a continental kit from PT Woody? I did a search which resulted in a thread from '02 that was less than helpful. Their site states an installation time of 1.5 hours. With my luck and ability that will probably mean 4 hours. Please advise. Thanks

I did one. Better figure on an all day install. The instruction sheet is quite long and covers a lot but there are a couple of things left out that may require you to go back and re-do a thing or two.

2step,
Thank you for the info. I should leave a week end open as I always seem to take at least double the time of everyone else. Does the latch work as well as before the install?

The latch mechanism has a very convoluted linkage because the lift handle is positioned differently. On my first installation, the linkage seemed to rub and bind a bit. I thought that I could fix it by re-bending it myself but no go. I bent it back to the original shape and then it worked fine. Lots of taking off and on again plus a call to the manufacturer.

This can be a nice add-on but you really do need to be handy. It's not for the novice. Each detail can be done well or badly.
