Default Silicone to seal

I need some help finding a thread that told me what type of silicone to use to seal a small gap between my Xenon side kit and the body. I don't want water to get behind their and loosen the tape. Thanks Gary

Carey, the thread I was looking for had a post about a special kind of silicone used for outdoors that does not promote rust. The guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Not sure how to track it down. Nice job finding this one though. you must have a library stored on your computer. Gary[:X]

Just a thought. Go to a marine store, 3M has a few different varieties and strengths of silcone there.

Just go to Wal-Mart. They carry the marine stuff in the sporting goods section...and it is 3m brand...
