Low Profile Antenna

I was thinking of a low profile antenna for my cruiser? Maybe this one http://www.cruiserbits.com/Shop/View...52&SortOrder=2

Anywone got one? How is reception affected?

Mine is a 6inch chrome shorty antenna. As far as reception don't know. I only listen to CDs. I think it does fine here in town but not so good away from town, but really doesn't matter to me. I got mine from shortyantennas.com (pics also on 2nd page of my web site). I just couldn't stand seeing that big antenna flapping in the wind out the corner of my eye. It was gone within the first two to three weeks.

Yep, I didn't like that thing waving around in the wind either...
So.... I installed a power antenna!
Isn't it Great! We can mod our Cruisers almost any way we want to!![^]

There ya go ptsilver, that's what they should have put on the new '06 a power antenna! Either way though we both win, huh?

I also purchased the one in the first picture from CMS. I love the way it looks, but would not purchase it again. I must have missed the chrome part and only saw billet and expected it to be aluminum. The top of my antenna is beginning to rust (where the small diameter and large one are connected). I need to pay more attention when ordering things! [xx(]

Just added mine yesterday along with the chrome bezel. Easy to install, and reception seems just fine for the stations I like.
