Default any pics of an installed s/r wind deflector?

any pics of an installed sunroof wind deflector would be greatly appreciated.

i'm very curious to see how much "opening" real estate is sacrificed with one of these deals.

any recommendations on a mfr. - would also be appreciated. i see ebay shows one for $38.95 + shipping...

thanks.

Looked for a long time before I found the "right" wind deflector for my Cruiser--BENEVENTO Custom Sunroof Wind Deflector--heavy-duty, good build-quality, and nice looking. [8D] No drilling--it goes on with two stainless-steel screws. Highly recommend. Sells for around $50-60.

Approx 1.5 inches measured from the interior sunroof molding. Now I am curious why would you want that info. I can tell you it reduces noise levels so that it is about the same as a stock Audi sunroof. It also reduces the air flow comming into the car in both open and tilted positions. [?]

Agree completely w/Gary - the Benevento is the way to go. You have a little bit of adjustment - you can push it forward a bit before you tighten clamps.
It's a PITA to install - need real long, skinny fingers - which I don't have - stuffed a rag to hold clip, then stuck nut to end of popsicle stick - once it's on, it's great. Very handy when there's a light drizzle - just watch out when you hit the brakes and water comes forward....[:0]

guess i like wide open spaces steelbluegt (the color of my gt - btw). i was curious about the inside overhang because the angle of gary04gt's pic - makes it appear like it hangs over the opening by several inches.

with popsicle stick in hand (thx for the install tip quicksilverdon)- i'm gonna go for the benevento that's on ebay right now.[^]

I just installed the Benevento wind deflector on my car a couple weeks ago. I posted a bunch of pictures on another website. If you go to www. p t crew .com and do a search for my screen name, you can see those pics. I'd directly post the pictures here, but the webmaster here has a problem with p t crew, and won't allow for any reference to that website. [:0]
My only complaint was that it blocks about 5 inches of the view when you look up to the sky. But, it does help on the noise.
