Default wiring mirror side markers lights - best path?

hi -

i'd like to hook up some amber led lights to the side of each mirror - for more visibility in traffic.

what's the best path, as far as the wiring goes...?

any pics of installed mirror side lights out there?

Suggest you contact KingKole02 - he installed new mirrors with lights on his.

Did you want them to blink with directionals? I'm working on having my washer LEDs do that (actually, they'd blink out of cycle with directionals - when directionl blinked, LEDs would go out...) just need a couple relays (Radio Shack).

Quicksilver,
Haven't been here in awhile see you got a new PT, nice from what I read at the bottom there.

Anyways,
Yes I did the M3 mirrors, took one off on a mail box so I don't have them anymore, but I remember what I did in a sense.

To give you an idea, I also did the same markers you speak of, for the same reason, but, I had already done my spilce and wiring for the mirrors.

Ok heres the deal, Im goind to search here to save myself some typing for my original suggested steps, and if that fails I will try to re-type my steps, can you get on ptdiy.com? Its there too I belive haven't been on there for over 8-9 months.

Ill get back to you.

Check links:
Seems Stephen R did these also
