Interior switches

I would like to know if the switches for the rear power windows on the dash are suppsoed to lite up when the lights are on. Mine don't and the people at the dealership told me that the do not wich i find kind of weird cause they have a spot where it should be lit and if i flick the switch they flicker. thanks for your hlep in advance, by the way i have a 2003 black GT and the only mod so far has been a roof mounted DVD.

Thanks for the info. that sucks, the heated mirrors are a big loss since we have such bad winters here, i will take some picts. of the DVD system and post them later today
