Default STULL GRILL

I see Race and Street have a cool stull grill for the PT Turbo. I can see how the top grill is an easy swap, but the factory bottom grill looks like one big molded piece. Am I missing something here? How easy is it to install?

Also, what do you think of the chrome strips applied with 3M tape as an alternitive to replacing the whole grill? Does anyone have a pic with this on a silver PT?

Thanx for everyone's help!!!!

The Stull's lower grill just goes over top of the stock grill...using a few nuts/brackets/screws.

Chrome strips might weather over time.

I watched Race and Street install them in about mintues 1 minute for main grill, and the rest of the time was spent on the lower grill

If you stay with the original grill, on silver (and light colored) PTs check out Streamline Design's Blackouts for the vertical portion of it.

Check out the DIY on extruded plastic grille on ptcruiserlinks.com homepage. Installer said grille needed to be replaced after about 10 months or so. Here's a E&G Classics billet grille.

drew622.
I put the chrome strips on my red '02 close to a year ago and still no bad results. I get comments all the time from people wondering about where I got it. It really does add a lot to the looks of the car. Check it out, along with my other MOD's on my site listed below.
