Just call the kit supplier. If he's reputable and all his clients aren't idiots, this question has popped up before and he's done the pre-post weigh ins.

Thanks, Moon, for the vote of confidence. I feel the same way. Please take some pix of my ride for me. I would have shot some progress pix for you except that my lady friend dropped my camera and... oh well.

After almost a full day of brainstorming, we decided to do something totally trick to the rear pass side door, something that no one has done yet. Also planning a late '50s Chevy like mod for the gas filler. I'll post début pix here in about 4 to 6 weeks. I can't wait!

As far as weight is concerned, all the weigh-stations between El Paso and So. Cal. were closed when I drove through. I'll see if some good ol' boy will let me weigh in on the way back home.

I saw that yellow panel driving around Boca Raton in early April. Mighty clean!

I am the owner of the yellow panel. I can tell you that my car is lighter then stock and I didn't take any steps to make it light. Remember there is no back seat, no door framing, no glass and no rear bumper beam. There is a heavy plywood deck under the carpet and plywood side trim panels. Also heavy sound deadening and a heavy steel beam in each side. I could have easily used Aluminum, light weight composites and high tech stuff, my thought was the weight would help the ride. It does and gives the car a very solid feel. I would gladly post some photos If I could figure out how.

You did a beautiful job, Yellow! I saw you driving around when I was in Delrey Beach in March/April. Do you offer the front fascia/bumper cover as a kit?

Hey Yellowpanel, that's one beautiful ride you got there, probably one of the coolest I've ever seen! Love the Boyd wheels too, I just got a set myself. Hoping I could get that type of front facsia for my PT, well now I guess i can! Where did you get the lug nuts for the Boyds?[:X]

Hey Yellowpanel, every picture I have seen of you car I can only see one side of the rear view. I can see the dual pipes coming out of the driver's side I was curious if you had duals exiting on the other side of the rear too?

thanks

The exhaust is a Borla system that I picked up on E-bay for a deal. It has dual tips on one side. I like it because there are very few around and the spare tire still comes out easy. The Boyd wheels were also a deal that I scored, a local Cruiser bought them and when they came changed his mind. I was getting ready to order a set direct and I found this set he had nuts too. He told me he purchased the nuts localy. I told him the nuts were included in the deal....
