Default b, c and d pillars

anybody tried clearcoating these pillars to keep them from water spotting or turning dull?

you can clean them up real good and cover them with 3m paint protection film or the Rock Blocker film. There is a kit already made up for the PT pillars somewhere out there[:X]

Mine look like new after 3 years, but I wash the car regularly, use a paint cleaner on the pillars, and wax them as well. Works for me anyway.

I have had success by applying McGuires Tech Wax to the pillars. I find that each waxing is good for about 2-3 months before the dull hazy look returns.

the cleaner before the wax ( polish) works good to remove water spots !![?]
