I ordered a set from raceandstreet.com this weekend for my 07. Should be the final touch on my exterior mods ..... I think.

Tried putting them on today. The fit leaves much to be desired for $250 lights. I spent about 40 minutes trying to work the clips to get the gap consistent along the top (visible) side. It's still pulled away from the body a little. If they were $60 eBay Altezas, it might be OK. But these are $250. They should fit better than this IMO straight out of the box. I'll have to work with them a little more this weekend.

I don't know why, but I haven't found an after market light yet that fits like the OEM lights, even my $300 rocket lights left a gap all the way round the recess. If you look real carefully, you'll see that I added a chrome strip around the rockets to fill in the gap.

I've had after market Red/White (like the 06/07 tail lights). I've also had the IPCW LED lights like you have and I've had two different APC tail lights and NONE of them fit properly.

I really don't know how I'll like the idea of adding a chrome strip as I'm trying to keep the chrome to the bare minimum. I ain't 50 Cent.

I really don't like this thick black lip around the edges either. Looks like a cheap attempt to mask the fact they used a thick ass bead of pedestrian latex caulk to seal these things. Once again, not indicative of the $250 pricetag.

I was attempting to 'white out' my vanilla Cruiser by buying the 'Crystal Clear' lights. Not adding a tertiary color of black. I don't know. I'll leave them on for a while and see if I grow accustomed to it. If not, I'll sell them and just roll the money into some cams.

I returned mine. Complete crap. If they can't make $250 lights fit properly, that's just pathetic. The 06+ lights aren't THAT bad.
