Default IPCW LED Taillights

A couple pics of my new led taillights - when you hit the brakes the butt end looks like the starship Enterprise engaging warp drive! [8]

Sure - here's three. In the one with both top and botttom sections lit, the bottom is the taillight, the top with turn signal engaged. It would also look this way with brakes applied, but the bottom section turns even brighter.

The one with the top section lit is the turn signal or emergency flashers.

The last with the bottom section lit is the taillights...

Believe me, they are plenty bright regardless of what function is engaged at the time! [8D]

Yeah, I love them, and safety is always a great selling point. [|)]

On the tires - had some Pirelli P Zero Nero tires on it & couldn't keep them balanced. Took 'em back and did some research on Tirerack.com and ran across a V rated Exclaim UHP tire sold by General Tire that has a long list of very favorable reviews.

A little more research and I learned that the tire is actually made by Continental in Germany. About half the price of the P Zeros, quieter, good ride (for 225/40/18s), great handling wet or dry, and a better tread wear rating than the Pirelli skins as well.

Just as units - like the Brake/tail, & turn signal. LEDs have a very long life.
I got the 3157 IPCW replacement units & replaced my brake/tail bulbs with LEDs in my Alteeza lights - they weren't that expensive.

Where did you get the parts to do the tail light mod? What were the part numbers and how much did it cost?
