Default Chrome beltline kit......how to touch up cut ends?

I purchased the chrome beltline kit a few months back......had to trim the ends....WHAT do we use to 'seal' the ends?

I remember reading on another post that Clear nail polish will do the job well.

Then, you could possibly use some silver touch-up paint on the ends if you need to!

I have read/heard the same about clear nail polish. I have also read/heard clear nail polish being used over paint on engine mods. Must be a miracle polish. I will be getting my paint sticks and a bottle of clear nail polish this weekend.

Bigdogdad that was me but I must retract the statement about clear nail polish on engine parts....that's not what I used for the letters on the intake I actually used the 1/2 oz mopar clear coat touchup . I did use clear nail polish on my '01 intake but not on my turbo ,sorry for the confusion .

Use the Mopar clear coat paint or a Sealit pen. Nail polish is not UV protected and will yellow in about a year.
