Default Any one have pictures of a Lund Wiper Cowl on a PT

http://www.pickupspecialties.com/Lund_wiper_cowl.htm Check it out.

I ordered mine today. I plan to paint mine Patriot Blue if I do not like the smoke version. Should look wild! Hides wipers and make front window look chopped. I ordered mine from Automotive interiors & accessories, P.O Box 1282 Belcher town MA 01007 $89.95 includes shipping GT Pn 25519 [8D]

Make sure to post your pictures. I would really like to see pictures of that on a PT.

Thanks Jody: That is the company I ordered the Lund Shawdow cowl from for my GT but I did't have the web site handy only the address when I wrote the forum. Should be sharp on the GT. Maybe I found out something for GT owners. I hope so.

looks very nice...but how do you plan to ever change your wiper blades when they become worn out?

Let's see: How about putting the wipers in mid position and change the inserts? Life should be extended behind the cowl since the sun can't bake down on them.[8D]

The red GT with white strips would look extremely wild with the cowl painted the same way.[8]

Incidently, my cowl was sent FEDX 25 July so they are in stock.

Received cowl this afternoon. Took about a 1/2 hour to install. Fits perfectly. Five screws are used inside the engine compartment and two pieces of velcro are used to attach to the window for easy removal. Sorry no pictures but it is different than Lunds pictures. It rings the hood by about 1/8 inch clearance then at the ends continues at the conture of the windshield. The cowl stands at about a 75 degree angle. Sitting inside is like watching a Plasma TV.The cowl comes in a six foot by 2 1/2 foot box. Will I like it? [:I]The more I look at it, the more I do. It sure is wild. Took it for a ride passed a couple PT's and their necks did a 180.[8]

Decided not to paint the smoke cowl as it matches the rear windows and pillars in color. Also I can see thru the smoke; paint I couldn't. It sure looks good on Patriot Blue!

I didn't tell her about the chrome door scratch pads and the chrome tail light rings, but had too, when she returned from Publix's and she said "Why was everyone looking at her? [:0] Also Couldn't hide a six foot tall box and I took an oath no more. [:I] Hey, tell me how you are doing with your springs and stage one... [8)] I'm interested. Oops.[xx(]
