Default Headlight Wire Gauge

Does anyone know if the gauge is different on the Low and High Beam connectors? They look the same to me. I ran across some HID-style bulbs for the low beam I like. They are 65 Watt rather than the typical 55 Watt. The OEM high beam bulb is a 65 watt so if both sockets are the same gauge, then I don't see a problem with over heating.

From an electrical stand point, if they are the same gauge wires, it would be the same as driving with the high beams on all the time. I've never heard of a PT socket melting from driving with high beams on.

Thanks for any input. And YES, I could go the full HID route, but I found these bulbs for $8.00 and I just like the look of them without going the full HID route.
