The cab wall is nearly finished.
things are coming together.. then I build the bed- retro stepside..

Molded cab corners have that retro vibe now..

Ok, as I said, I didn't want the cab to to appear to be just hacked off.. Even with rounded corners, it is awful flat... So.. I came up with an optical illusion...
bear with me... I aint never molded anything like this before..
But I'm damn happy with how it looks now.. (or is looking-- sanding still to do)
See the upper/lower cab wall separation, how it curves up slightly now?
1940 ford inspired, and it changed the whole line of the back. only 6" will show of the lower wall, but the curve is all above the bed (or will be) so you can see it..
Here it is in the rough..

Wifeys playing with me....
if you cant read it, it says...
"Help! Tim the Tool-Man wont stop!!! signed: Pitiful P.T."

Moving on...
I grid this thing off to measure my up curve.... should though of that in the first place..

Blurry, but heres the transition from the upper door, and around the cab corner...

heres a dead on side shot of uuper door/cab/corner line..

again, blurry... but it has an elegant curve that blends in to flat....

thanks for the comments everybody.
Im still pluggin along. Cab is nearly finished...
I back cut the upper door edges, as it was taking away from the rolled/rounded look im after..
I think it came out much better...
anyways, the bed has been removed and Im building it on the side... for now, the cabs at 90 percent. Should be in paint in teh next 2 weeks..
here some update pics...

Upper door edge pic (while in progress)

Here it is finished..
