Question Removing the Headrest

I have a 06 and I just purchased new headrest with tvs in them. Here's the problem, I don't know how to get the factory headrest out? Is there a pin to release them? If so how do I get to it? Thanks for any help!

Default Re: Removing the Headrest

On the inside towards the center one of the "rods" where it goes into the seat should have a movable "slide". Push it towards the middle of the head rest and pull out.

Talking Re: Removing the Headrest

Thanks! I figured it out before the response. I think it's a little different on 06s. If anybody else has this problem, heres the solution. Push in on the big button where the post go in, this will almost release it. Once it gets as far as it's going to go, on the other post, use your finger nail to push the other small button in, this will release it all the way! So basically there is a button on both base of where the posts go in. Both have to be pushed in for the headrest to come completely out. Thanks again, Brandon
