Default 2003 Front Bumper Question

I just received a 2003 GT PT Cruiser for my mom. However, it needs some repairs. Because it has a lower profile than my mom's prior car, she got it stuck on one of those cement things at the front of parking spots. It pulled the bumper part of the way off in front of the driver's side. Currently it is being held on by duct tape (repair shops keep retaping it every time we go in).

My question is, what would be a reasonable price to replace the front bumper? Are there any other solutions that I might consider?

Any help would be appreciated! Please and thank you!

$300-400 for a bumper cover before paint. Then add another $100 to paint and install. Had my PT's face lifted X3 all in that price range. Also make sure you get a bumper cover for a Turbo - there is a difference for your bodystyle between the turbo vs non-turbo.

First lesson when driving a PT = don't tuck into parking spaces.

And if you have broken the mounting tabs there is no fix for it, if you have just popped it out and lost the hardware you might be able to use some nuts and bolts/washers and get it back together but the fit will probably be off.. But if money is really tight you might be able to swing it for a while, worth a shot to look at least

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.

I'm hoping we just popped it out! My dad kept saying the repair would be at least $1000 if not $1500. Thank you for the help! I thought that seemed a little high on his idea. I think for now I might still wing it for now, but it is nice to know it isn't a ton to fix it.

And thank you for the lesson!

Now just remember that my estimate was just for the bumper cover not if there is damage under it. Which does happen, when you hit parking stumps you can damage the rad/intercooler support or even the radiator or intercooler so the cost would be higher.

We've had the car for a few years like this, actually. We have taken it in multiple times and right after this happened my mom brought it in and asked if there was anything wrong. Only thing they found was the bumper pulled off like that and they duct taped it right back on. I hope they don't find anything else if/when I get it replaced! But thank you for the warning. Everything is fully appreciated.
