Hey man, thanks for the advice. First, though, about the 194 bulbs.. was that in reference to the gauges in the gauge pod or to my comment about the dash gauges? If its the second, I'm picking up a gauge kit from JCWhitney simply because all of my interior lights are blue, not that teal/seafoam green that comes stock.
I like things to match.I saw those pods over at Race and Street, and am thinking that's where I'll order them from. Just out of curiosity, could you give me a parts list of what you ordered exactly from glowshift? Specifically, I know you mentioned using one of their sandwich adapters for your oil pressure sender, but would like to know which you wound up using. I'm using the 3614 filter, so I shouldn't run into any clearance issues. Thanks for your help.

I just picked up some green bulbs to match the stock gauges, and my overhead map lights and console lights are orange, as well as the rear cargo light. My reverse lights and tag light are super whites. The oil filter sandwhich adapter I ordered was the 3/4 UNF 16. It comes with two plugs, and one open hole. Im not sure how the N/A motor is set up, but where the filter screws in theres an oil cooler on the turbo, with two oil cooler lines. Myself and another guy I already explained this to, ended up turning the sandwhich adapter so that an extension of about 2 or 2.5 inches can be attached, and run between the two oil cooler lines, and then attach your oil sending unit there. Wrap either the cooler lines or the extension in some thick cushion foam, to keep the line and the extension from rubbing / breaking. You will see what I mean when you crawl under there. I couldnt mount the sending unit straight up, because it would hit the axle, and couldnt mount it straight down because of clearance issues. ~CYCLONE_06 |

You need ramps for sure. Go to wal mart auto section, get the grey or black resin ramps. They are light, and easy to carry, and hold 12000 lbs. The pillar under the gauge pod, well if it doesnt match you can paint it. My gauge pod completely covered mine, so it worked out well. Yea, you know how to reach me ![]() ~CYCLONE_06 |

Looks good for sure. Glad I can help you guys out. The vac line on the throttle body is much safer to use than the brake booster line. And that sandwhich adapter really makes life simple. The hardest part was running the tubes / wires, etc.
Slipstream, might I suggest finding some covering for your boost tube... it will help protect it from the heat of the manifold under the hood. I ran mine through a rubber tube I had laying in the garage and it blends in like it came from the factory. Where does your oil pressure usually carry around 55 to 60 mph ? ~CYCLONE_06 |

Thanks for the advice. I covered my wire to the oil sender with a high temp plastic conduit that seems to be working fine. I'll look into covering the boost tube. After my engine warms up I get 25 at idle and around 50-55 during driving. Its at 75 before warm up.
