quoteoes your shifter knob have a little play? Meaning, can you slightly turn the ball an 1/8th or so of an inch?...I just notice a "jiggle" if you inadvertantly grab the ball and try to twist it. No danger foreseen. I just want to know if it is normal.
Yes. Mine does the same thing. MGW, Ltd. ( http://www.mgwltd.com/pt_cruiser.html) makes some great products and they are all of the highest quality. I also have their A/C Knobs and Door Lock Pins. [8D]

Hey there gear head, nice MOD, the shifter looks great, is it leather? taller that the stock shift ball??? ALSO, what are the things you seem to have on the shift rod/ball/knob??And, if you don't mind, what is that little black thing on the drivers side of the centerconsole, is that some sort of 'boost controller' and if so, who makes it, and is it manual or electric controller,& how much boost are you running. One last thing, in your photo, is that 'blue' thing a radar device, and is it effective in that location??? thanx STEW

Gary04GT, I do like all your stuff but a few questions! How does the dead pedal attach? I love your metal pedals too how do they attach and where can I buy some?? Wonder if the 04's will fit??

The black box on the side of the console is an MTX EBC (external Base Controller) for the 2 12" subs in the back of the car. The switch on the shifter is a momentary action Hurst Roll control switch. It in a push and hold down for actuation switch for a TurboXs dual stage boost controller. I am running 15-16 lbs boost since stage 1 turbo upgrade kit. I haven't really found the need for the controller (yet) since stage 1. The small blue pods are controllers for the Blue neons under the front dash. In all there are 10 neon tubes located under the front dash/under the back of the front seats and in the Sub compartment and below illuminating the MTX Tri-Amp setup in back. The dead pedal is attached to the plastic foot-rest floor covering by two self-tapping screws. The brake and gas pedals are the stock ones that come on the 2004 GT. Therefore, I would think the Parts Department at your dealership would be able to get them for you. I'm not sure but I think they attach directly to the pedal shafts.

Believe it or not, the gas pedal attaches the same as the dead pedal, self tapping screws (at least on the 2003 GT). The break pedal will reguire drilling.
