Default Chrome antenna/bezel
Just changed my stock antenna/bezel for the chrome ones from pt-tuning, they look great.

the install wasn't so smooth though, after i got everthing apart the antenna wire, fell into the body panel, i managed to snag a protion of it, but it wouldn't clip/clamp back onto the body panel. 30 mins later the antenna/bezal is on and looks great.

p.s. hope no one steals it.

Strange my big fat plastic one dont make any noise at all!! Can't figure out if I should go chrome route or stay black cause antenna is black!!

I put mine on. It's simply a chrome plated OEM bezel.
Make sure it's seated flush like the stock one was. I love the look.
I have a 16" Shorty antenna, so the look is right. My stock one was silver too, so i can still go back to that.

I may go back to my stock antenna but keep the bezel, i got the 16 chrome antenna from pt-tuning, i think its whats whistl'ing?

Maybe, i notice that it loosens in its mount now matter how tight i make it. Replaced one on my 01 b/c of rust and the thing actually bent from wind.
