I thought someone posted that their was an orange wire in the a-pillar to control the dimming feature for overhead consol, well sure enough i tapped into the only orange wire i could find, and yes it dims the guages with the rest of the dash, no need to search for the radio dim wire.
Punch volt guage in, boost guage in (roughly) air fuel not in! ![]() |

about your install of the boost guage, what size fitting are you using, i went and bought a bunch of different size fittings, but it doesn't work out like your set-up.

Punch, I went to pep boys and purchased the parts. The T-block is listed as 1/8 npt. On 1 side I used a hose barb for 3/8"ID hose and has 1/8 npt. threads. On another leg of the Tee I used a 1/8" compression fitting with 1/8 npt threads (this is like the fitting that you used on the Oil Line into the block) except this fitting is straight not a 45 degree angle fitting. on the 3rd leg if you do not need another pressure access you can use a 1/8" npt pipe plug. Tell you what, I'm gonna send you an E-Mail.
