Default Heated Power Mirrors

OK, I know that the earlier PT models had power heated outside mirrors. After a nice foggy morning and a nice cold frosty morning, I am now wishing this was available for my car.

Question is, has anyone adapted the older mirrors for use on the '03 turbos? Or is there an aftermarket solution to this?

Not sure if there is anything different on the Turbo but you should be able to replace your mirrors with ones from an earlier model.

http://www.Chryslerpartsdirect.Com

The part numbers are Right side ( Passenger) 4724656-AD $92.00.

Left side ( Driver) 472467-AD $91.20.

Just wanted everyone to know that for my anniversary I asked hubby for '02 PT heated power foldaway mirrors to replace my stock '03 GT non-heated power non-foldaway mirrors (he got them from the local Chrysler dealer for ~$100/each) and I installed them last week - no problems! (Part numbers as described in an earlier post by IRPT).

The '02 mirrors are "plug and play," in that no modifications to stock wiring or anything, for that matter, is required.

You will have to loosen up the door panel to disconnect/reconnect the electrical connector, but that's really straight-forward; more info on how it's done at my website (url below in .sig):

The '02 mirrors are larger than the stock '03 mirrors and the heater comes on when the rear defrost is turned on. Works great!

Hi all, I have a 2003 Touring edition and it has heated mirrors. I didn'think it did after reading the forum, but the other day the rear window was all steamed up and when I hit the button I also noticed that the mirrors were also clearing and in about a minute they were clear. I must have had one of the early production models that might have had some of the heated units left over. Good deal!
