Sounds like a ground problem. Either that or a intermittent major short. If it "always" does it, it shouldn't be bad to troubleshoot. If it only does it occasionally, it could be a bear.

Sounds to me as if there is a problem with the altenator and/or wiring. Does the RPM's drop when you put it in drive, with the brake on? IF it happens all of the time, it should be a piece of cake for the DC techs. [:I]

Check this out...if it's the same symptomatically, it might be a common problem. In a couple weeks, I'll be hittin' the dealer up with the same complaint along with a couple others...

Hope it helps!

Well, don't settle for: "DEALER CHECKED WIRING TO PCM, ALLG ROUNDS AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS. NOTHING FOUND. " To me, that just means they didn't look hard enough.
Does the RPM fluctuate when it happens? [:I]

I have the exact problem mentioned in Triple's post. I have spoken to my dealer about it. They are aware of the issue but no fix has been issued yet. So far it seems that I have had every problem listed for the 03's

Steering Rack Replaced
PCM replaced
Lights Flickering
Rear windshield washer weeping
Had my headlamps replaced due to discolouration

All I can say is "thank goodness for the Waranty..."

Still love my car though...wouldn't trade it for the world....OK maybe a GT ragtop.

Gack! My condolences

Since that's the case, whenever I get to the dealer, I'l lpass along their course of action and let you know. At least it might point you in the right direction as to wear to look! [8D]

Later! [8)]
