Need another opinion

Have posted on here before about what type of racing stripes I should go w/. Getting Inferno Red as i type. Should be done Friday. Now thinking of color matching rims. I have an 03 GT w/ the dull siver/grey(no chrome[V],dealer didnt have one I wanted w/ chrome yet). Just wondering if anyone has done this. I like the rims but not the dull silver/grey that they are.

IMO, Dont do the stripes. Cars look better in one color.



And try for chrome, You dont want those ricer rims[xx(]

I've got a new product coming in that you *might* want to consider. It is called Color Magic and it is a removeable painting system. The paint comes in a spray bomb (bulk paint is available) and you apply it like regular spray paint but you have to prepare the surface with denatured alcohol. Apply your stencil, and spray on. To remove, spray on the remover solution and wash with warm, soapy water! I'm getting my samples to fool around with later this week or early next week, should be fun. For more information, go to http://magiccolors.net. They say that they can mix any color, so they can probably make an Inferno Red for you. Also, they have a 2 million dollar insurance liability policy so nothing should go wrong (paint and finish wise) if you follow the directions.

Too bad you weren't in Canada, I'd offer to swap rims with you. I got my GT with the chromes, but I wanted the satin aluminum finish (none available at end of season).

The great thing about the PT is that everyone does their own thing to it. You want racing stripes you go for it. Put a pic of an inferno red PT in your paint program and add stripes to it. You can get a pretty good idea of what you want. Chrome, chrome, chrome. Don't be a chrome clone. Everybody and their mother has chrome rims. Paint your rims. Maybe the body color or maybe the color of the racing stripes. Your vision is what counts.

I have the silver rims and I think they go well with the onyx green.

i put the silver painted rims on my wifes 02 light almond they look great on there!!
