I need a theme, and since my wife, friends and co-workers all think my car looks like a hearse, I'm going with that...

so i need ideas, pictures, mods, paint schemes, etc....

Hi Punch. I too was going for the Hearse look a while back. Someone on the forums said you can get "opera lights" for the C Pillar of your PT from JC Whitney, but you gotta drill into your car to install those. I was looking for those curley Q thingies for the C Pillar, but never got around to really search. Get a nice ominous color for your PT, like BLACK, and perhaps consider a cool retro flame job. Ask your local funeral home where they get their magnetic flags for processions, and get one for each front fender. If you know someone with good sewing skills, have them make custom flags that match the color scheme, with "PT Cruiser" in gothic letters inside a Maltese cross a la West Coast Choppers. Ask that person while they're at it to make a set of fancy curtains... gotta have em! Finish it off with skull licensce plate holders from Pep Boys, and most definitely get some vanity plates that read "COMIN 4 U"!!![}]

I think this is an awesome idea! =) You could use all the skull stuff they've got out too. Make sure and post pictures as it's coming along =)

Yeah, I've got an chrome auto skull shifter, door lock pulls, valve stem caps, and chrome skull hitch cover with eyes that light up.

I thought about Landau bars too. Maybe a Carson top as well. If the windows weren't tinted curtains would be a nice touch. There are also skull hood ornaments and window washer nozzles out there.

I wish someone would come out with a Kruzr shifter type mod for the autostick trans. I've got my eye on an even cooler shifter handle if that happens.[}]
