Default Glowing gauge face for the GT?

The factory gauge face for the GT says something "Turbo" on the speedometer (I think). Is there an aftermarket glowing gauge face that keeps the word in there?

The ones I've seen are for the NA Cruisers. No "Turbo" anywhere on the face.

Thanks in advance.

So I take it that it hasn't been made for the Turbo yet?

I have never seen a whiteface guage for the PT Cruiser GT. If you find one, let me know I will be interested.

there's a thread somewhere on the board about a guy who needs enough people interested in the custom gauges and some company will tool them for us if there's enough interest.

Well, if anyone can find this thread, let me know. I'd definately be interested in a custom gauge for the GT.

I don't know. Could be a problem as I stated on that thread about the issue of 120 mph versus 140 mph. This is and will be "two" production runs. Definitely a difference. I am sure they won't make, as an example, 15 120mph and 10 140mph. This is two different silk screenings/templates.
Quite honestly, going to the factory web site and as of today only 4 people signing on, it doesn't really look good. Not for the near future anyway.

The speedo sweeps on the Turbo & NA are the same. If you look at all the SpeedHut customer's designs being used, I'll bet silkscreening has been replaced with newer tech - like inkjetting - but I'm not sure.

SH will take your image file and put it on the gauges if you option it. I would direct my concerns to JaxPT on this forum to get the answers. He is the contact man.

Remember, the PT Cruiser is not a "popular" car like a Honda. In order for the aftermarket parts to come to fruition, special efforts like this become necessary. I too am surprised by the lower-than-expected response... so far.
