the reason why it is not illegal on those stock cars that you mentioned is that they are all coupes. On a 4 door, the rear windows are right above the tips, and the tips are right under the doors; this is their reason for concern and why they are legal on some coupes. To add a resonator to my setup would take some minor re-working in terms of clearance and spacing and the flow of the bends. Right now there are no sharp bends or turns...

On a side note i've had my exhaust checked out by MTO on numerous occasions and they felt it was fine. So now i have precedence set by an officer identifiable by their badge number, who i can request to be sapenaed(sp??) to court should any tickets arise...man i love loopholes!!!

In florida its against the law to switch out ANY exhasut system over stock.

I saw this PT at the pomona chrystler show a few months ago. It looked like the aftermarket mustang GT side exit exhaust. All you see are the tips comming out near the back wheels. It looked bad azz and was funcunal.
