I did post a pic of a success story...look at my DC2 pictured previously. Of course, would be nice if it could be installed without having to tweak it - so continued improvements would be appreciated!

take a look at the grill installed on the turbo, and also installed another one for a club member this past week end.i do not use screws but do think it would give you peace of mind, if you can see the tips at each runner you will see there is no gap and when the grill gets hot it does not move away from ths factory grill see at, www.ptcw.truckmoxie.com/amx1397/

Looks very nice! The small chrome screws I installed both on the top and lower portions gives me a greater sense of comfort knowing the pieces won't go flying off while driving. I don't have a "gap problem" on the lower portion, but I do on the top and just have to be very careful when drying the car not to snag the towel on those end slats on the top portion.
This is one of those modifications I hope they tweak to correctly fit the GT, as well as can someone please make chrome mirror covers to fit the non-breakaway mirrors?!?!?!?! [:I]

If you know what RTV is then get some, remove your overlay from the factory grill wash the tips, both the grill and overlay, with alcohol ( the point that stick out and get caught when you wipe dry the front end) ( when it gets hotter the tips will grow and stick out about 1/2") after the grill is washed and let air dry, put the RTV into the grove of each tip about 1/8 high and 1/4 " wide (in each tip grove) now reinstall on to the factory grill and place a close pin on each tip. leave for 24 hours, you may wipe the access if you want to. once dry take you,(or yourwife's ) fingernails and remove the extra RTV from the painted part of your grill. TOP DONE, now add another strip of two sided tape on top of the one from the factory, and add the RTV the same as above but now use wire ties ,as tight as you can get them and leave on for 24 hours now add your screws if you like but not needed, if you need more info give me a call 954 336 3405.
