Default Louvered Hood

Anyone louvered their hood? Just saw a picture in the Cruiser Quarterly and it looked pretty good. Maybe it would help get rid of some of the heat under the hood?

Thanks IRPT, a lot of very interesting comments. I really like the louvered look and may search locally for someone who can do this. I pretty much don't drive the cruiser when I know it is going to rain so I don't think rain will be a problem for me.

Punch, I saw one company, and I can't remember which one, but the cost was over $ 1,000.00.

mopar or DC was selling them as options for the 2003, might be cheaper than having it done.

bigdogdad, that is an interesting set of louvers, I have never seen it before. I prefer the smaller louvers, seems to be more retro.

ote69, I will have to check the dealer and see if they do offer a louvered hood.
