Default Hood Struts

Where can I get struts for the hood, similar to that of the rear hatch? To replace the factory hood rod? For some reason, I'm having trouble finding it on-line. Another mind-block I suppose.

Use SEARCH. This question has been asked before. But here are a couple of links for you to look at.[|)]

onedevinehammer, I have purchased Blanes hood lifts. Easy to install, will hold the hood from about 1/2 way as if it was counterbalanced to all of the way up. It has no wiggle or wobble. I ordered the plain black to match the rears. One of the best visable mods I have.

onedevinehammer, Blane's are the best you can get! Very easy install.

Agree here also about Blaine's. I put on almond colored struts to match my almond PT. Look great; easy install. With Blaine's struts there's no chance of loosing a toggle bolt down a hood hole when installing, like some other manufacturer's struts out there. Highly recommended.

Thanks eveyone! I'll look into the Blanes, for some reason I went to all the major websites (PT Tuning, Wykoff, JC Whitney) and couldn't find anything. Oh, and Dream ... it's always fun receiving attitude from someone who's been on the forum less times than yourself. Thanks!
