Default xenon crusher and e&g horizontal grille

Has anyone seen or done this? I am worried that the bottom section of the turbo grille e&g makes might not fit into the slot in the bottom of the xenon crusher.

Hey, it's good that we can edit our posts here.

Thanks.

it'll fit, but you'll (maybe) need to modify the crusher a little to fit it in there right. And you'll have to fab a way to mount it in there. Do all of this before you have the bumper painted

Jeff, as you know, I finally bought the crusher. It is prepainted, so I don't have the option that you recommended to modify the crusher prior to painting it so the E&G lower fits.

Just hoping you can provide any additional advice, photos, and details of what part of the crusher you modded besides cutting off the lip, to make the E&G fit well.

Thanks.

Jeff you're confused ... I didn't modify the "crusher" . I modified the lower grill to fit in "crusher" opening . Problem is my E & G was for an na car and was actually recycled off my '01 . So I know your grill was for the turbo , and can't really give you any more tips other than modding the lower grill not the crusher.

Thanks again, I may go with a mesh insert for the bottom.

Why not make cardboard template of the "crusher opening" , then lay it over E&G lower piece and see how much you'd have to cut the lower to fit opening . If you have to cut too much, you'd already have a template for the mesh . If you can cut lower then you'd have to rig /make something to hold the piece in the opening .

Ya, I thought about doing a cardboard template.

I also went out to my car after looking at a photo of (might be yours) somebody's purple pt with crusher and the intercooler showing through the lower opening. Then went out to my car and compared the ends of the blades on the E&G contrasted to my upper grille, and compared that to the photo of the purple PT. I would need to cut two or three inches off by estimate. That's off each blade each side.
