Default Think I finally found a "GT dash kit" for my car?

It has been difficult locating a dash kit for my car as there is not anything made to match the "shadow dot" pattern on the GT's dash. I have narrowed down the choice between two options. I considered Denali Blackwood, but, think I will probably go with Decor Brushed Aluminum as it should look sharp with my steering wheel's "aluminum" spokes, racing pedals, dead pedal, autostick shifter bezel, and MGW triple-chromed interior "goodies". Think I'll wait for some warmer weather before ordering the part and doing the installation. I plan to cover only the center A/C-Radio section of the dash with a molded piece like the one pictured below.

I have found one company that sells only the center section for the PT Cruiser: http://exoticwooddash.com/bit3.asp

So, what do you think? Any other ideas out there??? [:I] [8D] [?]

Gary,

Sounds good. How bout taking the brushed aluminum theme and taking it down the floor console as well. Doesn't that company make the floor console cover as well? If not here's an eBay brushed aluminum center and floor console cover kit that might match up. You can still use the molded cover that you have and match it up with the pieces from this kit.

Thanks for the info, CREWZIN, and I'll give it some thought. Not sure if I want to go any further as, my thinking for now is, "less is MORE", if you know what I mean. [8]

Kind of do , more or less. Gary, this is going to rock you to death. You know those wheel rings you have on your stering wheel? well, I have them as well, (but mine are the only one of its kind.) I bought the dash kits and have them custom painted, I just had the rings painted to match, pics coming soon, I promise, Gary

"less is more" Gary, c'mon--who r u trying to kid? between the pictures and seeing your vehicle in person, where is the less?
you have been a wild man with the mods. the vehicle looks great--always draws admiring glances with all of the stuff that you have "dolled up" you car with. just had to smile when you claim that "less is more". see you Saturday @ the Poodle Dog on the way to the Lemay Museum.

Thanks redrum, but...me, a wild man with mods? I'm not so sure about that as many of them are "subtle"--like my blue FLAMES. [|)] Okay, there may be lots of them when considering the BIG picture. However, I don't have a "wild" radio antenna MOD like your cool looking TIKI! [^] You should post a PIC for all to see. [8D]

Sorry, but I won't be able to go to the Lemay Car Museum this Saturday so check out all those sharp-looking automobiles for me. See you at the next PSC meeting on the 14th. Cruz On!
