Default Drilled holes into the body of my car

so that I could install a factory style rear spoiler! Yeah, that was a bit unsettling at first, but way easier than I thought it would be. I always liked the look of the factory spoiler and really wanted one, so when I saw that raceandstreet.com had the painted ones on sale for $158.00 DELIVERED, well, I couldn't pass it up. Since Graphite Metallic is a new color for '04 they didn't have any in stock but ordered one up for me and the rest is, well, you know.

be sure to put some clear coat (nail polish works, or touch up paint at best) over the spots where you had to drill, if moisture works it's way in there you'll have problems.

Excellent point, but not to worry; I brushed a fair amount of rust inhibiting primer onto the bare metal exposed from drilling and let it dry before final installation. And where did I get this brilliant idea? I read the instructions.....imagine that! And our wives/girlfriends/signifcant-others don't think we know how!!

Haven't taken any corners at speed yet, just straight line at 80mph and no difference there - big surprise, huh? There is a transition between a couple of freeways that I like to take at speed, at least until I got the PT. Scared the heck out of me the first time, but since I've added the GoldLines and the BTG strut bar my fears are greatly diminished. New tires/wheels should be in Monday and I know they'll help a lot!

I think the stock type spoiler looks the best. Nice choice! I know exactly the feeling you had drilling them holes. Two days after I got my PT I put on a old Mopar Performance license plate ring that I used to have on my Super Bee. I had to drill two extra holes for it. You get the "I can't believe I'm doing this to my new car" feeling. In a year or two, we won't think twice about doing it.
