Just in case nobody here has actually done this to an Inferno Red car I took the liberty of painting the pillars on PTGTRedman's car (in Photoshop of course).

It doesn't look that bad at all. On my electric blue with all the windows tinted I like the total dark look but I must say it looks good on the inferno red.

bigdogdad, here's an idea of what your Electric Blue would look like. Don't tell SakiGT I painted her pillars!

I know what you mean about the tinted windows and the total dark look. I Photoshopped my Graphite Metallic with tinted windows and didn't like it all. I think with the brighter colors it looks pretty good though.
