Default Chrome Antenna Bezel

I know as far as mods this one is pretty far down on the food chain, but i was wondering if there is a special tool needed to remove the chrome ring (has three slots)that secures the antenna bezel. Anyone out there replaced their's? [:I]

Gunner,

A lot of us have replaced the bezel. To be extra careful, I surrounded the old bezel with masking tape, in case I slipped in taking off the black bezel, hoping the tape would stop any scratching. There probably is a special tool to take it off but I was just careful and used a tiny flat ended screwdriver. The old bezel just unscrews off counter-clockwise. So I put the tip of the screwdriver in one of the slots and gently tapped on the handle end until the old bezel started to turn loose. I turned it the rest of the way out by hand.

Like Crewzin said, there is a special tool but why spend $15.00 when all you have to do is be careful. Tap, tap, tap. That is all it takes. If it was your living then fine, it would save time which inturns cost money, but in this case, tap, tap, tap. This is one mod I did and it looks great.[?]

What Crewzin said. It's actually fairly easy. Be careful and enjoy.[8)]
