I did it on my non-turbo E&G grill install - has held up well.[|)]

[:I]Oops, threadjack!
Is this the same Jeff V. in Rockville, Maryland, with the cute little daughter? Are you still posting on that "other forum"? I enjoy your humour!
Back on thread - I have a red GT, with the same E&G billet grille, which I have had on for about 9 months. No problems whatsoever, and Ilike the look, because it really makes the front end stand out since the stock PT's have a body-color grille. It lets the guy in front of you on the freeway know that something special is behind him, but only momentarily because the next thing he knows is that he is staring at the back of your car that says GT on the left and 2.4L Turbo on the right.

[^]Gary, that is where I put my Stage One badge, but that one that says "high output" on your carlooks very cool, also. I have been very happy with Stage One and the Brand-X pipe, but now I see that Jim has the uppercharge pipe for sale, several places now have a downpipe and a high output cat, AGP wants to give us at least 300 wheel horsepower for about $2,000 - and I am seeing that there is some electronic wizadry going on with the ebc/mbc. Oh, what to do next? Especially when the Chief Financial Officer is saying, "That car is already fast enough, you don't need for it to go any faster". I tell her that there is a need - that is, the need for speed. Have you ever heard a car-guy say that he has enough, or too much, horsepower? I don't think so! Only a girly-man would ever say that, and then he would be terminated! YO!

Golfer, I enjoy your posts too, and thanks for the compliment on my daughter, she's the only thing I think about more than my PT Cruiser!

Mich, glad the grille worked out well. I remember how relatively easy it was to install on the OEM front bumper.

You can see from my signature pic my E&G looks and fits well, but lemme tell you it was a bitch to grind down to fit the Crusher. I swear I lost a gallon of sweat. Had to make two trips to Home Depot for the multi-pack smooth metal saw blades.

[?]Jeff, your grille looks very killer, expecially the lower part that cost you gallons of sweat (more than Shaq when he's played the entire game?). Now that your work is over, it was worth it! In the past you have tried to sandbag us by saying that you were not Mr. Goodwrench, but this photo and your other mods show that you are a manly man. Nice going.
