Default Shift Knob for Auto/stick

New (for me) shift knob. www.mgwltd.com
Matching power and lighter plugs.

These are available with PT or GT emblems. The trim ring around the emblem is either "triple chrome" to match shaft and door handles or "silver satin" to match (sort of) steering wheel spokes and oval trim on gear selector. The larger emblem shown on the web page is not available.
Order by phone or E-mail, either way tell George that Brian sent you. There's a comment box on the order page.[8D][8]

The OEM knob mounts to the chrome stick. The button presses down on a spring loaded shaft through the center. The ball is stationary, the button moves.
The new knob moves up and down over a stationary mount on the stick. You press the entire knob to switch gears.
The knob is $50, the matching plugs are $20. Go to their web page for more info.
I modified the knob with a very simple spring addition to give it an even more solid feel that fixed an up and down lash in some of the gears. If anyone wants the details, I can fill you in. Simple but too long to post here.....[8D]

Try www.cruiserbits.com. Moss motors has the honey dipper and hole style shifters.

MGW Ltd. makes some great products--triple-chrome and very high quality. [8D] Highly recommend. The "MGW stuff" on my car is "old style" as it was purchased a year ago. [8]

Gary04GT......I came up with a simple fix for the up and down, loose rattle or lash in some of the gear positions. E-mail me if you want to know more. A clever boy like you could do it, too.[8]
