I looked for months before I found the right one. [8]

The BENEVENTO Sunroof Wind Deflector is well-made of thick plastic, secured to the roof with screws but without drilling, and is sharp-looking on the PT Cruiser. It worked for me! [8D] Highly recommend.

Agree. The others are "peel and stick". The ONLY downside is getting the Benevento installed. Their directions wouldn't work for me (or others). Trick I used was to take a popsicle stick with double-sided tape at an end and stick the nut to that - unless you have VERY skinny fingers or VERY long needle-nose pliers.

Double sided tape is your friend when you drop nuts and bolts, too.
Hey, QSD & Gary....How about a quick review of the wind deflector as far as noise or buffettng? Is it eliminated or pushed further up the MPH speed? Any added wind noise with the sunroof closed?

Could someone pleae tell me what the wind deflectors really do? I know they deflect wind from the hole in the roof but what are the benefits and drawbacks to them in the real world and why doesnt any manufacturer use them??

Hey there, recieved the 'Benevido' one the other day with the dual flaps. I did not even take it out of the plastic wrapper. I returned it because the flaps that open individually, looked inadequite, and seemed that any wind over 50mph would either open or close them (flaps), so I returned it for the non adjustable one like yours Gary.
I recieved the wrong color antenna too, so I'll be getting the new items next week. Thanks for your help fellas......Stew

We got the "no flaps" version from Race & Street and love it! It's quieter with the deflector and moon roof wide open than the moon roof was when it was in the "vent" position and no deflector. Couldn't believe the difference it made.
