Default Sirius Radio Install in my GT

I just installed a sirius radio in my new GT. That was a learing experience. The final product is great as the bone stock radio (RBK) controls the sirius. I will never listen to local radio after hearing the sirius product. The only ouch was drilling the 3/4 inch hole in my roof to install the hock puck antenna. It looks ok, better that the ones that have the cord running out the back. The unit fits behind the left read panel. Nothing shows and the product integrates nicely.

Do you have to drill a hole in the roof? Isin't their a way to magnetically install the antenna?

Yes, I had to drill a 3/4 inch hole in a very precise place. There is double steel except for about a one inch area. The instructions helped. The hockey puck antenna has a snap that catches as soon as you insert the antenna. There is also a pad of double sided tape to keep the puck from turning from side to side. Once you insert the antenna, you can only unsnap the puck from the underside. If I ever change, I will put a ham antenna in its place.
