I attached the images there and I already got the estimate. The guy lost the case so I'm getting paid for my car. Which is good news because I'm gonna fix it and get some money back so I can fix my speakers, power lock and while I"m fixing the car I might as well modernize it to the 09 look. Now I need to make sure the only thing different between the 05 and 06,07,08,09 is the following.

Headlights- The newer ones have headlights which have little boobs.... Hard to describe but the older ones are a solid shape while the other ones have indentations.

Bumper- The bumper is different to accommodate the new shape of the headlights.

Grill- The grill is different but it seems to have the same dimensions

Now from my understanding of the PT Cruiser they are all the same internally (screws and what not) So I could put the newer parts on my older PT with no problem correct?

I'm also thinking of putting HID (Xenon Lights) and put those Halo ish fog lights.... and could someone explain the vinyl eyelid thing...

Over all any recommendations are nice my budget is $1300 ish I can get the fender for $75 bucks and I get the paint job cheap (my dad works in the automotive industry and he knows people) I still need to see exactly whats going on but I know I'm getting paid close to 1000.

EDIT- After much researching I think I'm gonna go with this
http://www.limboland.net/Merchant2/m...roduct_Count=2

I just need someone to confirm that this will infact fit with my 05 PT correct? That and the fact thatI need to change my headlights.

Does any one know of a continental kit that isn't flat on the bottom (is full round)?

I have been browsing various vendors on line to get ideas for what to do with my car when I have a few hundred bucks to blow and I really like the smooth look of the roll pan and the classic look of the conti kit, but it looks like all the kits are flat on the bottom and are designed to sit on top of a traditional bumper.

I'm not sure how the flat bottom would look on the smooth back with the roll pan. For that matter, I'm not even sure one could be installed if it would look right.

OK,

Well I've been dealing with these problems for awhile.

Last school semester or maybe the one before that I had gotten a flat tire around the college campus, so I simply put the spare tire on and all, that's fine. Then after noticing I got home, my spare tire holder is just down and not up. I noticed that when my friend did it, he dropped it all the way and the nut fell out or w.e. So now, when I drive ( every day atleast, 5 days a week for delivering/going to and back from college... ) I hear the spare tire holder making noises, I've made it tighter so it's not as annoying but it gets loose fast and now I just want another to keep the spare tire there because it's sitting in my trunk....

Then I have a really nice dent in my trunk door from when I went bodyboarding in a blizzard (The recent one last winter in NY).......

I got stuck in a dirt parking lot that everyone was in....none the less I needed a big guy to pull me out. I signed papers so they aren't responsible if they mess up my car.... the guy has a huge snow plow in front of his truck so he tells me to slowly reverse or I can hit his plow. I figured this would be really easy and I'd tip him once he helped me. But no, I reverse slowly and never hear him shout "stop" or "slower!!" because all I hear next is a DINK and I get out and there's that nice dent with scratches on my trunk...

I've pulled off the back panel of the trunk to push the dent back to normal with a towel over a bat, but that isn't working. What other ways can I fix this dent myself?

Thanks.... if you need pics I'm sure I have some lying around from my phone's camera.......so it's not the best.

Hey Everyone,

You all remember the Ron Osinga who built his PT 5 Window Coupe right? Well, old Slayer Dark Cross has now joined the exclusive ODADDYO family having just added a brand new custom Front End to his PT. This is only one of a small handful of early production Front Ends in existence as of yet, and is the very first one that has been created for use on the newer 2006 and up PT Cruiser with the newer body style. Unlike Ron's front end on his PT, this new front end featured on Slayers ride has the Bumperettes, as well as a cool new custom Fog Light Assembly which gives it a totally new look to the PT and is done using the existing parts, including the factory for lights themselves. After having worked on Ron's 5 Window Coupe, I can honestly say the quality, and fit of his parts is excellent, and are quickly becoming a hot ticket item! Mr, Osinga also has many other cool parts including a nice set of way cool custom made rear view mirrors, widened fenders, and much more as well as a new ODADYO Clothing Line!

Anyways, here is a side by side pic of Slayer's ride next to Ron's 5 Window PT.

So, if your looking for a new, and totally stand alone unique look for your PT, maybe check out what Ron, and his Company ODADDYO have to offer. :good:

Go easy, and I'll catch you all later on.

My first time seeing this PT on the island. Walking outside Wal-Mart and it was parked near the entrance (as you can see the handicap signs), and of course caught my eye.

Mind you, I live on a small island so I know this may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but to me, this mod surprised me since I don't see too many on PTs here. The rear bumper was painted too, and it seems they were going for a chromeish look but clearly ended up more silver.

But when I do a search for mud flaps for that year, there are tons of different ones. I don't need anything fancy, just the basic mud flap...

I have a 2006 PT Touring, no hitch and no top luggage rack currently installed. We went camping (family of four) this past weekend and found out exactly how much can fit in ours, down to using the space under our seats! I would like any suggestions for luggage racks that work well with the PT. I briefly looked into bike racks before going (they didn’t make it) and saw that it was not recommended to get the strap on ones for the hatch because the seal is too tight. Has anyone used the strap on luggage racks? Ultimately I would like to install a luggage rack for the gear and a hitch for a nice bike rack and also maybe a hitch mounted luggage storage system or a small trailer. Are there any recommendations or anything to stay away from?
