Hey Everyone,

I just found out this morning that the PT Enthusiast Website is no more. At one time it, like this great Website was one of a handful of Websites filled with PT Cruiser Fanatics, packed full of great information, and more, and was just a great place to hang out. This was just one of several PT Community Websites that has recently closed abruptly without prior notice taking all the great information, photo galleries, etc, with it. It is quite a shame to see, and I hope that this doesn't happen to our outstanding Community as well one of these days! Knock on wood!

Anyways, I thought that this was news worthy. I would like to wish all of the last remaining PTE Members the very best, and hopefully we will see more of them here soon.

Go easy, and I will catch you all later.

Autoweek magazine is talking about FIAT's ideas for Chrysler? Lots of changes coming and I read about the possibility of a new PTC in 2011, based on a larger chassis with a FIAT V6 that may look like the original PTC but just a bit bigger.
It would be made in the USA on a former Jeep assembly line as the Toluca plant in Mexico is being re-tooled to produce the FIAT 500.
The new guy from Italy running Chrysler is very positive on the PTC saying that it has a large dedicated owner base that want a new PT with more power and more size inside. Polling of current PT owners found that as the average age of a PT owner goes up each year, currently at 62, that they want a car true to the original in styling and interior. The bigger platform opens up some real hot rodding potential and the possibility of AWD options for the snow belt areas. It also opens up the potential for a van version to compete with the new Ford small car based van arriving in 2010.

Possible??:D:D:D
