instead of how i designed it, like this:

just curious. it seems like there's a really nifty way to size the pictures, but the code to make it work is either automatically stripped out of the post, or not fully enabled, or blocked.

any way to get this feature turned on?

I've never been able to get scaling to work on this forum. On some other forums I can scale the photo with code. But not here. I can use the "medium" size photo provided in the gallery, but that's it for rescaling.

Also, if you rotate a photo and then save it using some programs, it still shows up inverted when posted on this forum. To make it work right, I have to rotate the photo, copy it, then paste it as a new photo and then save.

For me, I've just gotten used to rescaling all photos before I post them. Normally I take photos at 3264 x 1836 pixels. When I prepare one to post on this forum, I resize to 25%. That gives me a 816 x 459 image. And the file size is drastically reduced too.

I either do this on my cell phone or I use something simple like MS Paint, MS Picture Manager (comes with MS Office) or the older MS Photo Editor. I also have the freeware version of FastStone Photo Resizer is I want to resize a lot of photos at once. I didn't come up with this just for forum posts. I do the same with the photos I put in reports for work. So I do this quite a lot. I'm not a professional photographer at all. But I am a professional report writer.

I find that any image I down load from my photos on my user CP turn out at a very reduced size such as attached. Which is too small! I know it's preferred that we reduced photo size as much as possible while posting but I've never found that control on the PT Cruiser Forum. Any illumination on that subject (HOW TO) would be appreciated.

I throw almost everything on Photobucket and use the IMG codes to bring it over to the forum in a good size. If i find a photo that I want on the internet, by right clicking on the picture, a box comes up with choices on it and one choice is "find image on Google". Clicking on that usually comes up with that picture in different sizes and I choose one that is correct for the forum.

It just seems like it would be such an easy thing to enable, is a shame it isn't. I used to use Photobucket, but there's so many ads I refuse to use it anymore. They bought tinypic.com and made that ad infested as well.
