CREWZIN when did you put the diamond plate, I don't remember seeing it before!! LOOKS GREAT!!
Added that little "bling" about 3 weeks ago. Made a template out of cardboard, took it to a metal shop and had them cut me a piece. Just sits there between the rear seats and shelf. Easy to take out. $65.00 for the piece of diamond plate and labor to cut it.

More power to those who are doing them. Displays have been a part of the car show culture for years...

Yep, and it's the first Mod I have ever done that was not magnetic or 3M tape. Scared the heck out of me drilling those holes [:0]

I'm not much into "tailgate" displays but I do have one in the seating area........

Pam and I were at the WPC (Walter P. Chrysler) Club North American Show this weekend. At a show like that I don't think people would have appreciated most tailgate displays that I see at PT Cruiser shows. They are the type of car people who just aren't into that kind of thing. The club is dedicated to restoring cars, not modifying them. I think Pam and I were the only ones that had anything close to a display and mine definately had the most modifications of any car at the event. We still, however, got first and second in the PT Cruiser class. It was nice to hear the comments that were made about the Basset Hound Cruiser. The people that I talked to really appreciated what we've done. Pam and I had a super time at the show and at the awards dinner. We met some fantastic people.
