Default Luggage rack recommendations

My PT didn't come with the factory rack. I'm looking for an aftermarket that is fairly easy to install. I will mostly use it for camping gear but skis and bikes are a possibility. Any recommendations?

A couple folks have put on the factory one - use the Search function - here's one:

There's also a coupl who've taken off their roof rack - why not ask in classified forum if you can get one?

I figured it was possible to do this but I can't be bothered with the labor. I know aftermarket ones are available and that they require the weather seal to be moved out of the way. I just don't know which ones are easy to get on and off.

[8)]I have had the OEM aftermarket rack for about 4 years now and find it easy to use and put on and off. I have carried bikes, kayaks, and surfboards on it.

I installed a OEM roof rack. Really a rather easy MOD. But get the correct measurements when installing. Purchased mine of ebay for 120.00. Check out junk yards etc. Head liner removal is a snap you just need an extra pair of hands getting it out of the car, without it getting dirty.

not sure if by aftermarket you mean the optional mopar one? i had a Thule brand rack on my old car for bikes, it was great. and they have an entire line of items to customize your rack for whatever you want to carry. they tend to be easy to put on, no drilling or removing headliners. one cruiser i see in my neighborhood has a thule rack on it, and he usually has a surf board or bike on top. i'd suggest going to whatever store you go to for your sports equipment, and seeing what they suggest (think thule and yakama are the best known aftermarket ones). good luck.
