Default Installed my hood struts today.

I installed my Blane's hood struts today and it was a piece of cake MOD. Now no more being afraid of dimple the hood with the prop. One question though on the driverside there was a plastic plug or cap that I removed before installing the upper driverside bracket. I assume something goes there on the higher end Cruisers. I have a basic. Does anyone know?

Gonz,
I think the plug is there so you don't put the prop rod in the wrong hole and also dimple the hood. The same hole is on the passenger side without a plug.

BTW - Will we see you tomorrow at Nifty Fifty's???

Cary my car had a black plastic plug where your bracket with the acorn nut is under the "prop" lettering. Emailed Blane and He said just disregard the plug. I talked to the wife not sure of her & my daughters plans, if not I may come solo. Hope to see you
