I'm glad that they have some new colors for the PT. They need to use colors to attract a "younger" demographic to keep up the PT's appeal. These wild "tuner" colors may do that. The greys, blues and dark green are, to me, a bit conservative. I wider range of color will appeal to a wider market. If only we had some pics of these new colors.

Go back to Allpar and read the corrected news. The Route 66 is on the Touring only. I had one priced out and it started with the Touring. No turbo is offered.
My link does not take you to the forums just the log-on page. Look for the thread on this PT by oh2o it has more info than the news item.
Unless they have two Solar Yellows it is the colore on the SRT4.

"Correction: Route 66 Package only available on Touring PT (August 06 2005, 06 PM)Correction: the Route 66 Package is only available on the PT Touring Edition, not the Limited or GT."

From the Allpar news page. I stand corrected. Still wish they would use a nicer yellow. It shoud stand out and not be just one of the crowd.

A new color would be welcome. Always wanted to see a solid red ie;ram pickup. While yellow isn't my fav, it beats another shade of silver ! How about orange...lime green....or new 2 tones?
