Yes. There's a black one with HUGE rear tires. Only has one rear seat because of the floor being modified. The floor is actually raised up a few inches. It's a pretty amazing car to see.

Why go thru all the work of making a V8 PT? A Stage 1 PT turbo can get up to 450-500hp without having to rip the engine block open. Upgrade the tranny, axles, fuel pump, get a fuel return system, and a bigger turbocharger with a fuel management system (like a PowerPaq or E-1) and you'll make massive amounts of power. All without having to change engines and electronics. Plus, it'll impress everyone alot more than you have a little "4 banger" engine making 400 plus horsepower, and eating up cars left and right at the track! [?][8D]

But a PT with a V8 in it will only last 100,000 miles by way of some serious frame mods and probably continous loving maintenance. And you could counter with the arguement that doubling the output hp of the little 4 banger can be done without compromising lifespan. So how about... V8s sound cool Burble burble burble.... And put out gobs of low end torque. (Enough so that if i were doing it seriously, I would just go the expen$ive but reliable route and put a PT shell over a v8 racing chassis.) -------------
